Eloping at Villa Rustica

We have now stopped taking wedding bookings, but here are the stories of couples who chose to get married at Villa Rustica during the Pandemic.

Jessica & Christian

Jess & Christian chose to create a “mini destination” wedding at Villa Rustica. Exchanging vows in front of their immediate family, they planned to hold a larger ceremony post Pandemic with the rest of their family in New Zealand.

It’s such a stunning venue. We didn’t need to add anything except ourselves.

Danielle & Quentin

Danielle and Quentin chose to elope with just the two of them. They wanted their wedding day to feel romantic, relaxed and very intimate. After the ceremony and photos, they enjoyed each other’s company taking in the gorgeous surrounds with a glass of wine and vegan platter.

It was just such a stunning venue and made us feel like we had been able to fly away somewhere. It just felt like it suited us.

Christine & Ryan

Christine and Ryan come from large families and the guest restrictions at weddings prompted them to look for another way to marry. Choosing to elope together, they created a beautiful ceremony filled that “everything and more than we could have imagined.”

From the moment we stepped onto the grounds of this gorgeous property, we knew we’ve found our perfect wedding venue. Villa Rustica is truly a magical place. The decor, ambience, and all of the small details are incredibly beautiful, we absolutely loved it all.

Greg and I are always touched when we return to the villa after these events. The atmosphere is charged with a feeling of occasion with a milestone being reached in a couple’s life. We also love seeing their photos and hope you do too!

Thank you to these couples for being part of our journey at Villa Rustica.
